Today, 28 January 2012 (Saturday) - Will be going to office soon but just wanna update my blog a little cause I think I had been missing in action huh ? The truth was that I was busy working since second day of the Chinese New Year that is 24 Jan 2012.

Well, just to show you the CNY greeting card that my relationship manager sent me and a packet of red PB ang pows (not in photo).

Hope that so far your cny celebrations and work has been smooth and "busy" ? For those entrepreneurs out there, being busy is good and just follow the flow of events that come your way, yah ?

For my relatives that I missed meeting up with them : The ang pows are there with my mum ! 4 of them ! The Yap family lah !!! Sonny Yap, Irene Yap and Charlie Yap & family

To those who asked me about changing big money to small money - I will only give juicy tips during my talks and after that I will not reply anymore especially when you have never texted me for an apppointment before.

This is because I have my own way of doing the business plus I cannot give you my luck by replying. That's the main reason, sweetie. Don't you want me to have Good Luck too ? Well if you want your sifu, Master LynnYap to be good and successful, respect what I do and why I do this and that :))) hehe

And don't get upset after reading this: Many of my clients have very positive mindset and are a very very Happy lot ! ^_^

The iphone is great ! cause it allows me to capture when was your last appointment with me and your name (though you know I don't want to remember your name only your Face hehe) ...........especially when you next texted me.

I worked without a PA for some time already as I had decided to instead of paying the PA, I pay myself slightly more and that was like a couple of years ago, maybe more than 5 years and then from the year 2006 onwards eversince I bought my BMW the 3 series initially (I drove that for 5 to 6 years before changing to a 5 Series last year, 2011) then I decided not to engage a driver and to pay myself more too. What a mouthful of words. I think my school teacher from the Convent (Victoria Street) will not pass my Singapore english !

I am quite a lousy driver and not good at parking so if your wife drives like me........you can understand lah !

All these helped a great deal. Of course, I have to pay more taxes on my end but that is ok ! ^_^

Today, 22 January 2012 (Sunday) - Today is Chinese New Year eve and I hope that many of you would have got everything ready..............to welcome the year of the Dragon !!!!

For those who wish to read my Predictions for the Dragon Year 2012......well interestingly enough, yesterday evening around 8pm, Paul, owner of the website, texted me saying that his readers would like to know what's in store for their horoscope in the coming new year and so I immediately get to my laptop and quickly emailed him so that he can get his web developers to upload them into the interent for all to read.

It was quite fast and when I woke up early this morning I had a Google alert on my own Predictions 2012 and saw that it was already up in slideshare and then I sent it to my Facebook with over 4997 friends for all to read at 6.30am !!! and 2 mins later, I had a "like" from one of my client ^_^ (wah so early wake up !!!)(Singapore english)

Fengshui Queen Singapore, Master Lynn Yap tip : What do you do on the first day of Chinese New Year when you open your eyes ?

You go to the bathroom ? or you go to get yourself a drink ? or you go collect the newspaper and start reading ?

Well, the wealth area for the Dragon Year 2012 is in the West. Therefore, the moment you open your eyes, get up and first thing to do is : Go walk to the WEST direction of your house and stand there for 2 mins. The idea is to receive the WEALTH ! since the wealth is coming in from the WEST.

We have been doing this for the past few years and so far, so good.

Today, 15 January 2012 Sunday - How is your preparation in welcoming the new lunar new year of the Dragon ? Hope all is well.

I would be working on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year to "see see look look" with friends ^_^ (can consider working) and sometimes I don't know if I am working or not as I don't divide the line so straight but rather any daylight time is considered working.

Now about the 8 frozen oranges in the freezer : Question : Did it work for you last year ? if they did then replace the 8 mandarin oranges with new ones two days before chinese new year.

If not then dispose the 8 frozen oranges two or three days before the chinese new year. You can then throw them into a plastic bag and then dispose.

Thank you for many who asked me this question either through email or sms or whatsapp. Next time, either attend my talk to find out or wait till I finished my first talk at any Organisation and don't sms or impose more stress on me.

You can imagine my frustration when here I was working on my slides to make sure that what I predict are "chun" "chun" and not just "chun" and then someone would sms or whatsapp me to ask about the oranges !!! Arrgh !!! and then my buddhist teachings would come in !!! cool down........cool down, Lynn.

Then in my talks I predict about Gold and someone who never attended my talk email asking : What about silver ? Arrrgh !!! I choose not to reply. Any questions you want to know, ask me at the talks and after the talks, I would not want to reply any of these. I am going to work (check fs and do annual reviews or life readings) and take a short break.

Fengshui Queen Singapore 2011 tip: About the 8 oranges....in your freezer now, I will only reveal what to do with them after my talk this Saturday, 14 January 2012 at Safra Tampiness.

Participants pay money to come to my talk at NUSS and at Safra Tampiness. How can I reveal what to do with the 8 oranges already frozen in the fridge, now ?

It does not not make me more intelligent by doing so.

I have to THINK of all those who are coming to my talks and paid to the Organisers.

In life, we have to be "sensitive" to people or at least to anyone who is sitting directly opposite you or near to you or anyone close in contact with you. Pay attention to them or help them with kindness. If you don't have a kind heart, you will never be able to find real happiness anywhere.

Real Happiness begin with yourself.

It begins with your mind thinking positive and thinking about helping anyone who approaches you for help. It is about helping people with your abilities.

Fengshui Queen Singapore 2011 tip: About the 8 frozen oranges in your freezer : if the oranges bring you Good Luck then it is time to change to new ones and put new 8 ones into the Freezer for another whole year !!!

I cannot understand why so many people kept asking me when to remove the 8 oranges from their fridge ? Are they taking up a lot of space in your fridge that you dislike them so much ? if you do...........then I don't think you will see any luck.

True fengshui is about doing something and then waiting for the Good Fortune to arrive. For some it takes some time to come, while for some, it may take a very short time. It all depends on individual bazi.

Just remember that : "Ming" or your "bazi" comes first above everything else. However, if a person does many good deeds then that person would be able to alter their "ming" for a while. Hope........... you have been doing many many Good deeds.

Fengshui Queen Feng Shui Singapore tip: Every year, on the first day of the new year, I would usually pop a bottle of champagne and drink some. I have been doing that since 2003 ever since I stayed here at Gerald Crescent. Wow, 8 years, no wonder I feel like moving..........

Well, it's the "pop" sound that I like and that it can bring the year, better luck and fortune. Either you do it next year in 2013 or you may do it on Chinese New Year first day, that is after midnight on Chinese New Year eve.

Begin the new lunar new year of the Dragon with a good POP !!!! (we want to pop the Dragon's mouth so that he will not blow fire at us) ^_^ (Protection) Try it, it really feels good.

Case Studies : there was one male client who wanted to buy a "mickey mouse condo" (one bedroom unit) and had to ballot. It was a 50% chance for him to win that unit and he lost. I had a good laugh and then told him : Guess it wasn't meant to be his .........because he later bought a two room condo unit. I like clients like this because they allow me to be very comfortable with them. Do you like my case studies stories ? I hope so ^_^

The morale of the story is : "if it is meant to be yours, it will be"

More presents !!!

Today, 27 December 2011 (Tuesday) - Just came home from work and yesterday, I went to office to do some annual reviews and some clients gave me more gifts : the above gifts are given to me on Christmas day (1) and Boxing day (2). I really felt very blessed that my clients would give me presents !!! so wonderful !!! Thank you very much !!!

Just to share with you some case studies : Recently, I did some annual reviews and found that a few of my clients bought a 2nd property in the rabbit year, this year 2011. Some even bought their 3rd property. Yes, I am very happy for my clients because when they are successful, that means that my advice to them have been good and sound. Maybe my BBA (NUS) also helped them other than the fengshui and bazi knowledge.

I even heard from my clients that an agent even told her father that her daughter very "kiang", as all the 2 recent industrial properties that she bought all rise in prices already. Wow ! She was all full of smiles when she stepped into my office while another client had his salary increased to over S$20k a month after doing fengshui of his house and life readings. yes, he was very grateful.

I like clients who are very grateful because they made me feel so blessed that I am able to help them improve their standard of living and that is why many are very generous towards me. One male client even told me : Master Lynn, I am going for a "show hand" as in a poker game. I smiled because he just bought a 4 room condo at Thomson and is his 2nd or 3rd property. Luckily, I know how to play Poker (maybe I also got a poker face) if not very "jia lat" and very "malu"............if I don't know the meaning of "show hand" ^_^ These male clients sure like to "tekang" me ah ?

Excuse me, I write in singlish, you like or not ? ^_^

Well, just a note on mickey mouse units : I heard the latest that prices at Kovan area for these units are going at S$1600/- per sq ft for a one bedroom units, the latest selling price at a nearby condo and that means that my own unit at Kovan area would have made a S$300/- profit per sq ft already as I bought mine at S$1300/- per sq ft. S$300/- profit x the sq ft could give a nearly $100k profit, that to me was really shocking but wow.

In fact when I first bought it, I thought to myself that if price go up to S$1800/- I would sell. Then I took out a calculator and calculate how much profit made and whether it was a good enough "profit" for me to let go. This is how I would think before I decide to sell. Then after selling I won't regret but move on, just like my Ubi Techpark. I spilt and bought two instead of just owning one. I have never owned a condo before and that is why I like to buy condos, they make me feel very happy inside.

Do you know very soon, I can refinance my mickey mouse unit and take out equity too ? This idea came to me when I was thinking in a car and on the way to my clients apartment. Then it hit me and I like this idea very much and was like wow ^_^

Hmm.............this idea came to me and I did'nt have to read books on property to find out. So, this is how the big boys do it. Refinance, again on the 2nd or 3rd property. But whether this can be done, I don't know because I have'nt done it. In fact, I would like to have my condo fully paid then all rental income is all solid solid at S$3000/- or S$3500/- a month, that's what one agent told me.

One thing though : if you do buy a new condo unit intending to rent it out, it is important that you stay at least one night sleeping in the new condo first before you do rent it out ok ? this is to show the tenants that : you are the landlord so they had better listen to you, this is the fengshui implication ^_^ Hmm...........getting ready to stay in year 2015 or 2016 ? Let's all huat ah !!!!

Been their member since 1994.........this is the place where I learnt about dharma , meditation and have been with the Centre's members to numerous holy sites where Buddha has been in Nepal and various parts of India. Each time I go, I stay there for two weeks !!! I like to think that I am more enlightened now ^_^

I would never have been able to go there alone, collectively, we did and it was really fun and most enriching. It was a life time experience for me. I hope that when ABC organises another of those trips, many of you can find the time to go. You need merits one, you know ? ;))

Today, 12 December 2011 (Monday) - Hmm..........it's another week !!! Let's hope this week passes smoothly.

Fengshui Queen, Singapore Wish : I hope the Iskandar, Malaysia project takes on to a higher level and maybe I go there and retire at 65.

I wish I can retire earlier..........but I can't.

Then all of you will have to come and see me there in Johore Bahru ! ^_^ but I don't plan to work anymore. I would like to plant some vegetables and fruits and keep a big koi pond and continue investments into Gold and property by that time, gold will probably reach US$4000/- per ounce ^_^

Security is very important to me too.

I hope to see : a special line at Immigration for residences of JB where we only need to use a special card insert it in and out we go in 9 secs, no need to Q (almost automatic) ^_^

Because if we are going to invest RM$1.5million to RM$3million in Malaysia (bungalow, the kind called Pool Villa with 8,000sq ft of land) it has to be worth our while or of some benefit and use and I hope there can be tax rebates too or a special scheme for Singaporeans who simply love Malaysia. Would you like to my neighbour ? ^_^

Last week, I received an email inviting me to do a talk in 2012.

The invitation came from a Bank which earlier this year, I had given my Predictions 2011 talk. I guess the audience liked me so I get invited to do it again. Wow ! it's my pleasure ^_^ Incidently, I get paid for giving speeches ;))

We must have pride in what we do for a living and therefore we charge. Even my eldest son, Ivan can say to me that : I am actually not working because I love what I do. Smart kid huh ? yah, he's the one who got into NTU and made me so proud ^_^ Of course, I also love my second son, Alex too and wish him well.

Fengshui Queen, Singapore is a registered trademark since 1997 - I seldom call myself that but my clients would. I guess they like to be proud and honoured so somehow this branding got me to many places and value !!! it was very difficult to get the mark approved in those days but we did it ! and I still operate my business under this brand name. Chinese tea for you, dear ?

Today, 29 November 2011 (Tuesday) - looks like November is going to be a short month with no 31st.

From today onwards, after work, I will be working on the 12 animal signs' fortune for the year 2012 as a particular Organisation had requested for them and I have a very tight dateline (haven't felt this way for a long long time and oh ! I perform best under stress) ^_^

FSQ Photo : how do you like my new tea cup ? Yes, a bit kiasu, so put extra tea leaves for that "Oohm feeling" ^_^

My favourite tea is "tie kuan yin", somehow these "leaves" can give me a nice pleasant taste and "feeling".

There was once I was in Guangzhou, China and tasted one of the best "tie kuan yin" tea that I had ever drank. Later, someone told me that that was his (China Official) personal tea leaves, very very good grade. Till todate, I have yet to buy such tea leaves that can leave a very thick pleasant taste in my mouth after drinking the tea and having hat "feeling" again :))

Too much ice melting at the north and south pole could cause about an increase in the water level (sea/ocean) surrounding our islands in the world. Is there anything that can be done ? Hmmm.........

Fengshui Queen, Singapore Blog : There was a day when I was asked to go down to check this shop space and the owner wanted to know why she could not rent this out.

I checked and later told her that the wealth area of this shop is outside the shop space as this shop space is not regular, hence the wealth area can fall outside the owner's shop. I gave her some solutions and went away.

7 months later, the shop was rented and found the rightful tenant. This is a real life case study except that some facts have to be changed to protect the real owner ^_^

Feng shui blogs - On Google search, hei my blog managed to climb to number 9 spot ! of course if you search for Singapore Fengshui blogs, my blog is ranked number 1. ^_^

Fengshui Queen Singapore Note - There was a day when I was doing fengshui when my couple client said that they own 7 properties now. Wow ! it was an eye opener and they bought these properties before 2007. You can imagine the profits , on paper, they already made.

Our parents used to tell us to save money and don't spend too much -

What they did'nt tell us was how to create wealth the easier way than simply saving money. I guess there is no right or wrong answers, it is about how we go about creating wealth for ourselves vs making the property fully paid up as soon as possible. which one is the right method to growing our wealth ? Can someone tell me ?

What I do know of is : As long as my last house that I stay is fully paid up, I am ok. It is a make it or what ever in the coming pig year, 2019. Those we want to keep, we keep, those we want to sell, sell and make profit. And I still wonder if location , location , location is it still valid ?

Many of my clients that I do know are of net worth, S$2million up and yet they dressed very simply and are quite humble :) You don't know THAT is a multi-millionaire at your favourite kopitiam.

We don't need a lot of money but some millions is good enough ^_^

Bazi Case Studies : These days, I am doing more annual reviews now and I spend more time with them to help them succeed in career, wealth, family relationships or love relationships. I am most happy doing them and some even invite me out for lunch ! yummy yummy !!!

FSQ Tip1: One of them told me after changing her iphone to red colour cover, her phone never stop ringing and she is in property business !!! I wonder if she will try my ice kachang theory ;) wink wink

FSQ Tip2: Next year, 2012 and the year of snake, 2013 and horse,2014 are not good years so better plan to save more for rainy days.

A beef a day, keeps money coming in for some !

Today, 17 November 2011 - (Thursday) - work is per normal.

FSQ Bazi Case Study : For some people whose money element is earth and has zero or only one money element, they can go out and take beef so that More money can come.

This happen during another life reading session with a client and I advise him to go take beef and observe what happens to him the next few hours. Today, he sms me telling me that it works ! he received a call, 4 hours later and bumped into a friend who wanted to sell off his property ! Wah ! business come for this man ! Rejoice and happiness to him ! ^_^ you, wanna try ? better go check that bazi chart first as not everyone can go out have a steak !

I may be a buddhist who does not eat beef/mutton/pork but that does not stop me from encouraging my clients on doing what's right from their bazi. Go check your bazi and see if you should eat more ice kachang or eat more beef ;)

Bazhi Case study : There was a day when I was doing a life reading with a client and I asked him to go eat ice kachang and that if he does, within 30 mins, his mobile phone should ring and that is good news meaning some form of money is to come to him and ask him to try it out to prove my theory wrong. Today, 15 November 2011 (Tuesday) - how is your week so far ? this photo was taken recently and hope that you like it. It was chosen out of 20 photos :))

FSQ Note : Thank you for those who like yesterday's short note on men. Well, what about the women ? I noticed that women who earn more than the men in the house tend to have more say and final say. They also tend to be a bit bossy ^_^

Most of the men generally will just agree with their wives maybe they just want to avoid any disagreements in the house and to have more peace. However, some men will still want to state their point of view and this is where some disagreements can come about.

For those women who earn more : just be a bit gentle in the house and that would be perfect. Example: serve him with a drink rather than call the maid and get the maid to serve him ! that is simply not right, in my own opinion.

I know of some women who are married to very talkative husbands. Gosh !.........still can be gentle huh ? try lah ! ^_^

I may not write much about the topic but I will hit the nail at the very spot where the "problem" is. That is my strength why many people like to come and see me for a destiny reading. Their first reading may not be very long, usually just an hour or so but their annual review or second or fifth or sixth readings are usually longer and for some, can run for 2 to 3 hours. we simply have so much to talk about..........including when to buy properties and when to buy gold :))

Today, 14 November 2011 (Monday) - it's another Monday and a brand new week. Let's go thru this week pausing at some moments of the day and spend time with yourself or to meditate. Then some bright new ideas may come your way.........

FSQ Notes : Some men like to control things especially within the family, they like to decide and they want to have the last say. If you happen to marry such a man then you have to learn to let him decide everything if not there will be conflicts or disagreements.

Some men are mature then that is much better. In the sense that whatever decisions before he makes, he likes to hear your opinion. that is call "respect". we, ladies like that but then ultimately he makes the decision, right or wrong ^_^

Maybe that can feed their ego !

What can you learn from this ? well to all those ladies who are prepared to get married and start a new life together with him, learn first how to "bow down" (be humble) a little to your man. it will help and go a long, long way towards a happy marriage. Well, I am not saying that we, women listen 100% to them, just 95% will do lah ! ^_^

The finer things in life and growing rich

Today, 9 November 2011 (Wednesday) - weather looks fine.

To grow rich : some people say the way to grow rich is to mortgage the house, while I have some clients who only wish to make their house fully paid and then they think they are very happy. That is because they have this concept of not wanting to borrow money. They dislike this idea. But I would ask : is this the mindset of learning how to grow rich ? if it is, I want to learn and try.

We cannot say if that is right or wrong afterall it is their want. we can only think if that can grow our wealth eventually. But I think whatever we do, it depends on how old we are now.

If one is in their 30's, getting a big loan or good debt is fine. But if one is in their 60's or more, then have to weigh the consequences and ask what you really want, maybe it is just for their short term investment (6 years) and then they will sell then that is fine.

Recently, I went to Luxus Hill and I like the environment there. I was there on a public holiday and saw many big cars passing by. Looks like this place is for the rich & famous ? It cost at least $2 million dollars to own one of these.

Would you like to have a big debt or would you prefer a smaller debt and an almost paid up property. If you look at the number of big cars on the road, you can easily guess the income level of the people and also their ability to buy and own these two million dollars property. Wah !!! I tell you what : put one million dollars in the house and take a loan of one million then can own already ^_^ (easy yah)

Today, 7 November 2011 (Monday) - I am just back from my Guangzhou, China trip and have been working since including today and am just home.

How have you been ? Hope you are well and fine.

Photo shows : the airport lounge at Guangzhou Airport where I used my Priority Pass (I got promoted) to get in to sit and eat for a while before boarding the plane back home via SQ.

This pass allows me to get into over 600 airport lounges in the world and when I was there, recently, I was the only lady sitting alone which gives me a nice feeling where the men there started to LOOK. The name on the card reads : Master Lynn Yap ^_^

The trip though short but was very pleasant and nice and I throughly enjoyed the trip. What makes this trip particulary meaninful was that it was the first time in 14 years where I had dinner with my clients/friends. If you asked me what did I do during this trip ? Oh ! I went to Guangzhou , China to have a wonderful dinner with red wine for 5 :)) Have a lovely evening !!!

Today, 29 October 2011 (Saturday) - It's a Saturday ! well it depends whether you work on weekends or not, if not the weekends can be the busiest for most fengshui masters here in Singapore.

Recently, I have been to many new HDB flats like those at Bishan Street 24, Kim Tian Road, Havelock Road etc The flats there are very nice and windy ^_^

She said she knew that I was very busy just by reading my blog............and I wondered how she knew as she is correct in the sense that the last 3 weeks I was very very busy. Owning multiple properties and doing it right !

Today, 23 October 2011 (Sunday) - Today is Sunday.......lovely day to rest and relax and to think a little on how to move next.

These days, there are some seminars that can teach you on how to own multiple properties in the shortest time ever. If you have time, try and attend them. I think they can benefit you and help you understand how the rich or haves, done it.

After learning that then it is up to you on whether you want to "move on and follow" or not. Usually it is the "mindset" thing.

I am sure those who believe in property to creating wealth for themselves, have already done sot and that they now own 6 to 15 or more properties. These days, owning one property is not enough because the rich will get richer and richer and you may fall back behind, just becareful ok but do it within your means and with little risk.

Personally, I own 3 properties in Singapore, two of which are very small ones but still they are my very own and in my name so that anytime I wish to sell, I can. I would not have the problem of someone over ruling it (not allow me to sell) then I would not be able to move in my own destiny.

Recently, many have come to see me for a life reading, making me Singapore's most famous fortune teller and fengshui master or rather the most popular, maybe ^_^ because I still work very hard for you and do them personally, is because I want to. I do my best to help anyone who approaches me for fengshui and ensure that they see results after the fengshui is done. That is my Company's brand promise - fengshui Queen Singapore's brand promise.

After that, I advise my clients to save money and to buy another one because my parents believe in thriftyness and saving money for a rainy day. That is why I do not like to see my clients spending lavishly, spending some, yes but not too much, saving money is best.

Today, 17 October 2011 (Monday) - It's another Monday.......and work is as usual.

We need to learn how to be kind to others. We can be kind to anyone who needs help from us. Just by offering a cup of water or giving a lift to a friend to the nearest bus stop or even buying food for them.

All these are "kindness" and sometimes we take all of these for granted, isn't it ? And that is because we forget how to "smell the roses" that is to slow down in our daily life and to "see" more out of life and to live it ^_^

There are benefits in being kind to others - only when you have been kind to thousands of people or some great deed even if it is just one great deed, the benefits will come. Of course, we start by being kind to others not because we want the reward at the end of it.

Some people may think that they have been kind to many people but wonder why the good rewards didn't come. Well, perhaps that is because it is not the right timing. Be patient and one day, your rewards will come ^_^ and is beautiful.

Today, 12 October 2011 (Wednesday) - Hi, I am just back from Shenzhen, China since Monday.

I travelled in business class via Silkair and on the plane, I had my ipod playing "In The Enchanted Garden" by Kevin Kern as I watched the white clouds in the sky. You must feel what I feel...........ooooh so lovely and so peaceful ^_^

Trust is a 5 letter word between a fengshui master and his or her clients. It is so important as without TRUST, there would be no dealings and no bonding. The fengshui results speak of itself about the TRUST - what clients gain out of this. I am sure many would have felt the results by any fengshui masters from Singapore ^_^

Today, 7 October 2011 (Friday) - TGIF ! well, it is the end the week and hope that your week went well. well, we are the "ang mo pai" type ^_^ a little bit white on the outside and yellow on the inside or was it the other way around ?

Dragon Year 2012 : I wrote in my blog sometime back about what you experience the last two to three weeks would be : what's gonna be like for you in the year of the Dragon and Oh..............a client made an appointment to see me for her annual review as she got worried.

Then I explained to her and she understood, I was happy for her. I know there are many out there too waiting to see me, well, please wait till I am back from China and I will be there for you ^_^ two or three hours, annual reivew is not an issue. you know that ! *wink*

You remember the lady client whom I helped to choose a good feng shui condo, well she finally bought a two bedroom condo which is very near my space@Kovan condo. Some people in my Facebook said property prices is all about the supply and demand. Do you agree ?

SHYNESS is not an issue or is it ?

Some people can be quite shy and when one is shy then communicating what you want can be quite difficult particularly if you are very very shy and always say things or mean things the direct opposite of what you really want. Bottomline was : because you were shy.

Learning to overcome your shyness is good as it helps in relatonships between couples or even in relationships with anyone. Use sms or email if you find communicating face to face, shy.

Are you still shy ? I hope not. If you ever want to be successful in your career or in your relationship with your other half or anyone or even in your life, do not be shy. This is because shyness in anything can only bring about more problems, miscommunications etc. If you have been thru life and lived life till age 45 or more, you would probably know and understooded because you have LIVED and EXPERIENCED life ! The fengshui of your house can determine if you are a saver or a spender ?

Today, 5 October 2011 (Wednesday) - Hi, I will be travelling to Shenzhen, China over the weekend and back on Monday.

Want to know if you are a saver or a spender ?

When your income is "standard", you can save only x dollars per month. Collectively as a couple, the total income increases to say S$10k a month and collectively both of you can save 30 to 40% a month too. See how statistics if used properly can tell one story from the other. It is all about : what you put into them to come up with the statistics.

I may not like numbers but I enjoy reading deeper into the numbers to find out what is going on and why like that ! I want to know.........just curious ^_^

First check your bazi, your "ming" determines many things in life and how much wealth you will have. Once married, your life partner's bazi and yours will determine that and when the children come along, again the "ming" changes.

The Fengshui of your house comes third in ranking towards the Five factors that affect Life. Your "ming" or destiny comes first in ranking.

Two, check the house that you stay in, windy or not. Not windy means can save money, very windy means cannot save money cause the people living in the house will always "THINK" of ways to spend away the money.

Third, Compass direction of the main door : if the door is North East direction, usually mean family members tend to spend more money than others. If you have a swimming pool in the North East ! Oh my ! I dare not think. However, if there is a swimming pool in the South West direction to your house, very very good feng shui ^_^

Today, 3 October 2011 (Monday) - It's another Monday. Hope everyone is fine especially when the Dragon year, 2012 approaches.

Life is like a chess : We move our steps carefully so as to win the game. So which piece on the chess board should I move next ? The bishop or the castle or the pawn ? And when we make the wrong move, oh we can still move correctly to turn things around :)

Well, we have to think carefully before we make each decision. In life, some people think too much and too long and worry over nothing. Well, this is not me and I hope it is not you, too.

Singapore Fengshui Blog on Master Lynn Yap - Thank you to many of you who came here daily to read my blog especially about fengshui so that you can learn.

I am sorry if when you come to my blog and there's no update because I am busy. I will try to write more and daily if possible.

Recently, I have been to a few new condos where the owners got their keys to their new homes. I am sure this will spur more business for those in interior design companies, contractors, furniture shops, cable TVs etc. We are all connected in life. One turn of events would lead to another. I hope you can spend time reflecting on this.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Newton's first law of motion. I was a science student of the Convent Of the Holy Infant Jesus, Victoria Street. There were only two classes in the whole school, one whose second language is mandarin (where I go to) and the other where the second language is malay. Those years were early 1970's. You probably were'nt born yet !

After I did well in my O levels (scored As and Bs and got some Cs) then I went to CJC to study Arts where I go for the points, which one easier for me to study in order to score points so that I can go SU which I did...... enter SU Bizard but graduated with a NUS degree. I could also enter accountancy with my points scored but I dislike maths so I applied business admin instead. I like subjects like marketing and management.

It was also my dad's wish that I enter the local University to make him feel proud then and I like to please my dad and so I studied very very hard. It was an unbelievable joy for me when I received a green letter that I got into SU Business Administration. I was staying at my parents home at Jalan Kuras whose fengshui is very very good for children's study. My brother and I are the products of the fengshui of that house.

I write this with the wish that young children can make their own parents' wish come true.

Well, it didn't matter actually in real life, it matters what we did with our degree that is the most important. There are some people who are very very successful in life and business and they are without a University Degree but those are very very few. Please remember to count your net worth and if you are married, you have to divide it by 2.

Annual Reviews and House Reviews - Many thanks to those who had booked appointments for the month of December for the coming new year. I may not be a good writer but I have plenty of very very good loyal fans ^_^ (I had touched the hearts of many many citizens with my fengshui) and yes, I write from my heart which also makes me a very different feng shui master from the rest.

Today, 29 September 2011 (Thursday) - work is as usual and most customers would have to sms or email or whatsapp to make an appointment. Luckily, no need to use face to face conference sessions.

Fengshui Thoughts : Some people believe in feng shui while some still don't. For us, fengshui masters, we care for those who do and those who are our clients. For me, many of my clients have stayed with me for very long years and can be as many as 15 years or even longer. We @ fengshui Queen, Singapore are indeed very honoured to have the ability to serve all of you ^_^

Do you still believe in fengshui ? Have you seen how fengshui works ? and keep on working ? Fengshui has to work if not then that is not fengshui !

FSQ Notes : If you can "read" a situation/problem on hand/issues here or there..... deeper than anyone else then that means that you are Very Good, meaning that your mind is very very calm and therefore can read any situations very well.

Meditation helps calm down the mind and that is why every morning before I go to work, I would usually sit down to meditate a while before I go out for my first appointment and that is why my first appointment usually start at 11am and I come home early each day too but I work 7 days. My feng shui is My Life ! If I were to start my life all over again, it would still be feng shui !!! ^_^

It is a very specialised skill and not many are very good at it, only the very best survives and live to a ripeful age. Most masters when they grow old, they pass the business to their children. This is because the fengshui business can really zapped up the energy in us. Therefore we also have our own secrets to keeping the energy energetic (body and foot massages plus others) and also looking younger and youthful.

Then ignore anyone else's who maybe at your work place and who can't keep their mouth "shut", leave them alone and you would be a lot happier ^_^ we can "shut" our ears and the noises right ? :))

Today, 28 September 2011 (Wednesday) - This week, there were some new property launches and my client sms to inform that "such and such" is the price per sq ft now. The going is S$1300/- per sq ft, the one that my client was eyeing at and I helped her choose the one with very good feng shui among the rest.

I also heard that many people were waiting for the prices to fall and if they are my life readings client during a session, I would then ask them :how much do you think it will fall ? back to the prices of 2007, the year of the pig or even further like 2004/5 ?

If you were to stop for a moment and think : if property prices fall by as much as 10% or even more, guess who will be the ones who will come back and buy ? and then push the prices up again ?

If you are rich there are many others out there who are richer than any of us and our income can only go up as so much more, while the prices of properties especially some of them can one day, go beyond our reach. Maybe we can still afford to buy a S$3million property, but how many of us can really have the capacity to buy a S$5million dollar one ?

Of course, if we want to and have a plan, we can still have it. However, this was never my plan and therefore I didn't spend time thinking about it. My plan was to have a passive income of S$10k per month from rental properties. I do what I can within my means. I have a few "mouths" to feed too ^_^

Today, 22 September 2011 (Thursday) - work is as usual and just home. Many years ago, I visited a buddhist centre in 1994 and never looked back, I became a Buddhist and travelled to India to all holy places in the footsteps of the Buddha.

The teachings of the Buddha became my own values in life : letting go.

Today, 20 September 2011 (Tuesday) - work is as usual and getting more interesting.

There is this thing called : Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. Go read it or check out Google search and read. Then find out which level of needs are you at then you may discover something...........(I studied this at NUS in the early 1980's and may still be relevant today)

We all have different needs at different points of our lives so when your need is different from your friends/spouse then you may discover that : their mindset and yours are different.

Some people focus too much on cleaniness, some people focus too much on money, some people focus too much on caring for others and forgetting to care for themselves while some focus too much on themselves (their clothes, shoes and handbag must match if not cannot go out) :)) I used to be like this but I changed over the years and learn to love life more and the way it is.

FSQ Notes: when we buy a property if it is for our own stay then just focus on that and don't look back. For those whose destiny are more favourable with property then which ever property that you buy, somehow you will make money. Trust your bazi. However, if your bazi is not so favourable with property (earth element) then do it with a bit of care and a "kar len" advice usually that of a fengshui master ^_^

Today, 14 September 2011 (Wednesday) - Life readings in office then to eastern part of Singapore. Some of my clients have already started booking for their annual reviews starting September and they requested for two hours each. Oh and I love doing annual reviews, it is so nice to see them again !!!

I sometimes wonder if couples do bicker all the time ? I guess it is also the way each party speaks to one another. Sometimes, when you listen especially when you are an outsider, it can be very very "trying" but for the couple, they understooded.

Why not try something different to your spouse by not answering back or even not nagging ^_^

Today, 12 September 2011 (Monday) - is the 15th day of the 8th lunar month and also known as Mid Autum Festival, let's celebrate this day with lights (lantern), mooncakes, chinese tea or wine and with the moon ^_^

Thank you to a few clients who wanted to drop by my office to pass me some mooncakes, I did'nt want to accept but this mooncake came from a lady client who said she insisted as she wanted to do so. I had no choice, gave her 30 mins to see me at my office and she came with this set of champagne mooncakes for me ! I tasted them in office and boy ! was it really shiok and good ^_^

Today, 8 September 2011 (Thursday) - Do you like tall buildings directly facing your house' balcony ?

In fengshui, tall buildings represent mountains and sometimes it is good to have a huge tall moutain at the sector of your house which represents power, health and fertility.

Of course, an odd shaped mountain looking like a knife looking at your house would be bad for health or fertility. That is why, the neighbouring houses or buildings around your house or office building would be very very important to your own fengshui.

Sometimes, we can see "peeping tom" buildings, which is one mountain (building) taller than the other. Then you can be sure that other people are peeping at you and what you do, all the time. Want to live in a house like this ? ^_^

FSQ Tip: If you own a condo and renting out and you are not staying there, what is the percentage of this condo's fengshui affecting your fortune ? the percentage is 50%. Therefore, before we commit to buy, it is best to check the feng shui out before you commit. For your own stay, of course the feng shui impact is 100%.

1) Care for those nearest to us first and then those who are seated next to us in office.

2) There is no need to do "extra care" only when they come t0 you and seek your help then that is the time to care. When you do care and help, ask nothing in return nor expect a favour back. That way, you will be a lot happier.

3) Share your fengshui experiences with them as well as your fengshui knowledge making sure , you don't over do, yah ? I never like anyone to be too overly superstitious.

4) Bubbles can mean bubbles from our champagne or from our feng shui pond. They are all bubbles, big or small ^_^

For fengshui to work: remember that we need to stay in harmony with one another and to CARE for all our relatives, friends and others. Help one another for the sake of family's harmony and prosperity.

Some friends recommended "check fengshui" to their own friends in order to have better harmony, good luck and greater wealth when they realised that their friends needed help.

It's that "little" thought that cared that shows that one really really cares. Have you spared a thought to your loved ones, yet ? I hope so ^_^

FSQ Fengshui Tip: Your dining table should be a little bit messy and not too neat. The material used should ideally follow your bazi. Eg: if your bazi need earth then the dining table should be made of marble.

Many clients whose condo have been chosen by me found their new homes, fengshui very very good and they simply love the energy that the house can bring. I said to them :"Yes ! this is the Super Good feng shui that I am looking for" Sure to HUAT AH !!!! and good for 20 years ^_^

Some of you sms to tell me that some books that I recommended are quite good and very interesting. Thanks ! The books that I like to read are usually on investing or sometimes on buying properties written by successful Singaporeans. Need to support our local people with talent n knowledge.

I believe in obtaining knowledge especially financial knowledge not only in gaining financial knowledge but by putting them into action too. One needs to get REAL life experiences then you won't be fooled by others who have only bought one property in their life time or people who have very little life's experiences.

FSQ Stories : For those young married ladies, please spent quiet time with your husband and not let your baby occupy your time, 100%. This means that you are TOO attached to your child. This also applies to the guys.

Learning to "let go" a little bit is very important for your relationship with your spouse. Go kai kai, see midnight show or go supper, just eat and talk and nothing about the baby. The bonding between your spouse will then be good. Add a bottle of red wine and it will be perfect !!!

Today, 25 August 2011 (Thursday) - Work is as usual and I slept well last night.

How does one vote for the new President of Singapore on the 27 August 2011 which is a tiger day and a metal 7th lunar month (monkey), most favourable for earth, water or fire person ??? The monkey and the tiger day will clash to produce either fire or water to be very supportive for anyone who is usually an earth person.

Some clients asked me who I will vote then I replied that one of them is my cousin's cousin or my Aunty's nephew so I will have to support him, one of the Tans ^_^

Today, 20 August 2011 (Saturday) - Today, work is as usual and home by 7.30pm.

FOCUS: Many of us lack focus in our daily lives and we just let the day pass. I am quite guilty of it too and did nothing the last 5 years. well, we shall see.........what's coming on NEXT in the next 5 years.

Property : Even though prices of property may come down the second half of this year, the next few years, will be very "trying" like Dragon, Snake and Horse. These are the best timing to buy something that you have always wanted for your family if not, then stay put especially when you are already 60 years old or older.

Today, 17 August 2011 (Wednesday) - Another day of life readings before I set off tomorrow to go to Jakarta, Indonesia.

After I come back and worked on 20 August, Saturday then on 21 August Sunday, I have to fly to Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia and back on 23 August 2011, I guess it will all be fun ! (direct flight)

I hope to bring some nice photos back and am going to miss some of my favourite shows but WORK always come first for me as the whole FOCUS of my life is : my work. I work 7 days a week but not all the daybreak hours, only by appointments only. That means that all my clients' need come first before mine. I am still available via sms, email, Facebook and Whatsapp to 9685-2718. I can live a very simple life with very little needs except for my super "pan tang" ways !!! ^_^ Oh and I love red wine like Merlot !!!

Oh and my eldest son, Ivan just went to NTU for his Animation degree, first year intake. I guess he was among the 12,000 Singaporean students who made it ! Oh yes, this boy makes me proud and I am a very happy mum.

Live your life to serve others :

That way, your life could be more fulfilling and "rich", in another sense.

Today, 16 August 2011 (Tuesday) - Good Morning ! and thank you to the over 1087 visitors to my blog the last two days. Yah lah.............I did'nt know what to write so I "rested" but when I realised that hei, my fans/clients never give up ! I think I better give them something to think about and to help them grow their fortune ! Well, this is to thank you for being so supportive the last 20 years !

If you think I am successful in accumulating my wealth then please follow and if you think I am not successful cause I have nothing to show, then don't follow, it is ok with me. I walk the talk and grow assets and net worth using fengshui cures and "secrets".

Only when you come and see me for a can or cannot buy, be it HDB flats or a new condo or landed property then I will share with you, how people make it and then it is up to you to follow. Your ability to handle risk is one of the most important factor in determining if you are ever going to be successfully rich or not. (Many people do not like to take loans).Period. THINK !!!

So here it is : If you ever wanted to be rich, look inside of you. This is the "secret" plus read all those books that I recommended you to read. Knowledge is King and so is Cash !!! (please remember to keep reserves of at least 6 months worth of expenses so that in case anything happens, you won't be worrying about paying all your bills) I have a lot of bills to pay every month just like anyone else and one thing though, I never let my family members worry about me.

This is called "Thinking of others first then yourself" and when you care and love everyone in your family, you are definately a good son or daughter ^_^

Last Sunday, I showed mum, my blog and told her about 300 people come and read what I write daily and she was shocked but pleasantly happy and she said :"how come your photo makes you look slimmer than in real person". I replied to mum :"Ai yah, mum do you know how many shots I have taken and then I choose the best one to show to others ?" hehe Anyhow, mum does not understand or read english, she only look at my photos in this blog ^_^ So this photo is for you, mum !

Two THINGS if you ever want to be rich :

1) Always have an open mind - this means that when ever anyone says nasty things to do or do things to you, simply PAUSE for a moment first before taking action. This shows your maturity in handling matters as well as being professional (ka ka one, also looks good mah).

Do not take anyone's attack on you as "personal". Just smile and move on ! Or think positive !

2) Always have an open heart - when someone else is more successful than you, wish them all the best ! Only when your heart is able to have this Big and Generous heart and not a jealous heart then your own Good Fortune will come. Your sifu, need not be richer than you but he or she needs to be doing well and got something to show or is a very popular feng shui master ^_^

Today, 9 August 2011 (Tuesday) - Yes......a very very Happy 46th Birthday, Singapore !!! and am just back from work , huh ? I don't know what is classified as "work" anymore. When I am home with the internet, is that also "work" ?

Property News : I usually like to visit Property Guru and read about the latest news on properties. Here is the link :

I am quite interested in the semi detached houses in KL ^_^ either that or a bungalow in JB ? Hmm.........still thinking or I go for a shop or industrial office in my own name, budget is S$1million or more. I want to find my "cash cow". I think many of you already found yours.............wait for me !!!!

"Mini" Properties: When we buy small Mickey Mouse condo units, their price per sq ft is usually a bit more than the standard and if you happen to buy small Mickey Mouse light Industrial units that are smaller than 700 sq ft, their selling price is also slightly higher than the standard asking price. I know of a place where the whole office unit is only 150 sq ft !!! Very very small right ? yeah.............but I have seen it and almost bought in 2010.

Finally, in June 2011, I bought my office at First Centre Building at S$441/- per sq ft and when the price goes to S$600/- per sq ft, I might cash out (profit of S$100k) to buy a bigger office. Downstairs shop frontage going price, I heard is S$800/- per sq ft ..........so my dream of S$600/- per sq ft, can come true huh ?

When the value of these properties go up, because they are small and hard to find in Singapore, you can then make money not immediately but over a couple of years. Some people like to call me a "property investor"......hmm.....I buy things that most people would not think of buying like a light office unit. I started investing in these since 2001, Snake year. The next Snake year coming soon either I will sell or I will buy again. Hmmm...............^_^ Happy Birthday, Singapore !!!!!

Today, 7 August 2011 Sunday - Oh what a Sunday !!! spending time with parents, my brother and his family over brunch. After that I went to office for my readings. It has been quite a week ! ^_^ and some of my Facebook clients like the fact that where I go I sometimes do a "check in" so as to tell my Facebook friends where I am and what I am doing, well it is mostly work as I love to work and work giving my personal touch and friendly advice.

2 Fengshui Rules when buying a property:

This morning, a client wanted to know if he should go ahead with the purchase of a condo that he was eyeing for investment purposes. I replied in the sms saying that : 2 rules of thumb when buying any property:

1) The unit number of the house or block number or avenue number must follow the last digit of your marriage certificate. Eg: if 3 is the last digit of your marriage certificate then 3 could possibly be your spiritual number. Spiritual number is a number that follows you where ever you go. It may be a 3 or a 8.

2) The fengshui of the property should be very very good then can buy - For landed property, we can choose a main door facing south or south west that would be THE "very best" ^_^

I then shared with this client about my condo at Space@Kovan where I bought for a particular purpose and if the price of the condo that I bought goes to S$2000/- per sq ft, I am going to let go and sell. Afterall, these properties are all bought in my own name so that it makes it easier for the property to be sold. And I am very very decisive when I want to buy and I know just what to do and what to look out for.

You can check with those agents who handled all my "buys" and another set of agent who handles all my "sells". I am not a property investor, I buy them to keep and to use. However, if price goes to a level that is what I want to sell, consider it sold. I guess I make use of any opportunity that apears to me and listen to my own gut feel than anything else.

Property transactions : there could be many more properties being transacted the first half of 2012, be it for good or bad reasons. So best timing is to sell if you wish and if not, then hold and wait for the next best timing. Sometimes these timing also must coincide with your bazi timing for "profits" eh ? dun have in 2012, means no sale lah !!!

How do you like your fried rice ?

Well, there are many ways to fry the rice and cook fried rice.

I like my fried rice with garlic best and is always good to take rice at least 3 or 4 times a week as taking rice also means that there is always rice to eat, every time (for fengshui reasons).

Fengshui Queen, Singapore's Tip: The same with cooking rice at home: One needs to cook rice at home at least once in two months even if you hardly cook. And cooking rice at home is not the same as cooking porridge.

In the old days, when people were poor, they cook porridge as a form of comfort food. so cooking rice is better than cooking porridge. Of course, occasionally, we can cook porridge and have something light to go with it. Some of my favourite food to go with porridge are canned stuff ^_^ (my generation, the 1950's, I think we like stuff like these)

Investments : You know, Gold really went up to US$1500/- per ounce as predicted in January 2011 and Australian dollars really went up (my mum sold some of her Aussie dollars early this year and made some money) I did not invest in any of these but used the spare cash to buy my office this year in June 2011. Can't be helped lah ! I don't like renting so lucky, owners wanted to sell and lucky, I have some spare cash to pay for the office. Let's see what's going to happen in the Water Dragon year 2012 and see what's good to buy and make money by the end of the Dragon year yah ? Want to know more, come to my talks !!!!

Today, 1st August 2011 (Monday) - Today is my eldest son, Ivan's 21st Birthday. Happy Birthday, Ivan !!! May you always be healthy and happy !!! ^_^

FSQ's gift : I bought him a silver key from the goldsmith shop just a few days ago. You can imagine the price of Gold then.......anyway, it is quite a pretty looking handsome "key". My son said it is simply Awesome !!!

Today, 29 July 2011 (Friday) - Today, I met a lady client who was generous enough to share with me, her theory of success.

She said :"Whatever comes out of her comes back to her" and I replied :"Yes, exactly".............seems like we share the same sentiments ^_^ and I believe that : That is the basis for success in business or whatever one is doing in life.

1) When you are kind to others, others will be kind to you.

2) When you help others, others will come forward to help you, in times of need.

3) When you give generously to others, others will be most generous to you.

However, take note : Do not purposely help others when they don't wish to be helped. They, themselves must be ready. ok ?

Today, 26 July 2011 (Tuesday) - It is already Tuesday.........you know ? Everyday, I will find something for myself to look forward to : be it going to check my long time client's new house or meeting up with a long time client for a reading. I always look forward to meeting them.

And if they have been very successful, there is this tremedous joy inside my heart that I would feel very very happy for them. This is me. The inside of a real fengshui master, Singaporean born, educated and worked.

Question and Food for thought : If I have S$100k, would I invest it in shares or in properties ? my take is on properties because my bazi is not suitable for shares. Hence, if your bazi is suitable for shares then go for it and make more while if your bazi is not suitable then better don't try.

Question : Which one (shares or properties) would give you more "asset value" ? definately property and I like "asset value" and "net worth".

FSQ Tip: A person's "mouth" is metal and hence if you need more metal then better for you to go karaoke and sing more, ok or wear more gold ? ^_^

Today, 25 July 2011 (Monday) - Wow ! another week ! Hmm........it's been a busy week as usual.

Last Saturday, I met an old client and his mum and when I finished the FS, his mum asked : Are you going home ? I replied Yes and home to watch tv (afterall Sat and Sun at 7pm, channel 8 has a very interesting Taiwanese serial to watch) ^_^

Sometimes, I don't write much, but I guess is because my client base is rather large, that is why many of my clients feel very close to me when I write my blog....... huh ? I promise I will write more interesting feng shui tips for you, ok ?

FSQ tip: There was a day when a male client invited me to his landed property house and asked if I could just "see see" only for a small "ang pow". This young man's mum passed away in this house years ago and so when I sat at their dining table, I can feel a strong sense of energy coming forward towards me and then it whispered :"ka wa ho ho eh kua, ah !" (hokkien)

In my heart I was thinking, Eh excuse me, your son only ask me to "see see only leh" how to check in detail and tell him what to do. But then, still........ I did my best and left the place. This is a true story and the male client still lives in that house which had already appreciated in value.

FSQ Tip: Fengshui solutions can chase spirits away if really need to. There is a secret method written in the old feng shui books which only if you are righteous, will be able to get hold of this important knowledge. Anyhow, most landed properties do have some form of spirits here and there and hence when you intend to buy one, just be a bit careful and observe closely, ok ?

Today, 22 July 2011 (Friday) - TGIF ? ^_^

Question: Ever sat in the car while your other half yaks non stop on whatever his eyes can find ? and causes a slight pain in both ears ? hehe.......... I am sure this would ring a bell to all those ladies who are married to these - "one of a kind".

In the beginning, it was very difficult to tolerate while over time, we would have learnt to accept and to forgive. Afterall, every one of us are born with very different bazi which explains why our lives (destiny) are so different.

Doing many good deeds help as these help create "merits" which in turn would help us in many ways in our lives, especially when you REALLY needed help, it comes. you are simply just being very very blessed.

I have "read" (life readings) and "seen" many of my lady clients' husband whose bazi fit the above mentioned, particulary mine ^_^
