What to do during Chinese New Year , First Day ?

Hi today is 28 January 2017 (Saturday)  - Today is first lunar month first day which also mark the first day of the new year which is Rooster year !

Did you already "Crow" on the first day of Chinese New Year ? "Crow" here .... I mean speak loudly ha ha !!! πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“

πŸ”΄ Here are the DO's :

1) It is important on the first day of the new year to pay respects to the parents. Therefote on this date, we offer good wishes to our parents and give them big ang pows.

2) Because it is the first day of a lunar month, some people go vegetarian on this day always so that the whole year will be smooth.

3) Next would be visiting to Senior Uncles and Aunties and offering them red packets too.

4) Then depending on your rank in the family, you go home and wait for others to come and pay respect to you. Some do it the next day.....if not it will be too tiring.

5) Some staff even have to go and visit their bosses on first day of CNY. This is to ensure :  A FAST,  good start to the new year !

✔ Tip : Ever wonder why people do these things silently on their own and yet they had a smooth and peaceful year !? Nobody will tell you why they do these......

⚀ For those in business : The entrepreneurs will go to their office, shop or factory to turn on the air con, lights and computer for one hour to signify that they start work already!

The concept here is : Those who start work quickly will be rewarded fast ! Just like those who went to the temple on CNY eve hoping to be the first one to put the joss sticks in the urn !!!!

Same Concept here.

If you are free tomorrow, you can also go to your office for one hour to get the same "good luck" impact.

⚀ For employess : Anytime the boss tells you when to start work, you start work. And when you work, give it all of your best and effort.

You may wish to carry two big mandarin oranges and one long Chye Sen Yeh red packet and place them all on your desk till they "huat" .

⚀ For students : First day of CNY, make sure you go and touch the school text book and read one line or one paragraph of any subject.

⚀ For houswives : Go do some cooking or washing to ensure that the new year.........you will still have things to do.

As nothing remains constant. Every day, things are moving.....and it is normal to wish that things remain the same.

πŸ”΄ FSQ Note : I hope that you had remembered to withdraw money before Li Chun so that you can deposit them in.

Or if you have some spare new notes, keep them till Li Chun then deposit them in, ok ?

Some clients tell me they deposit coins on Li Chun day as the Q is shorter. Food for your thought.

Have a very Happy Happy Huat Huat Lucky Lucky Year of the Rooster πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“ !!!!

If you want to get richer in the year of the Rooster 2017 !

Hi, today is 25 January 2017 and we are 3 days away from our lunar new year.

Though the mood is not there, fret not. Create the mood in your house !

1) We usually paste a chun on the front door - other designs cannot. Or go hang a red cloth outside the door to invite good fortune in ......

2) We also paste a "Chye Sen Yeh" on the wall of our "wealth" area in the house. Last year design, the CSY carry uncooked rice bin. My clients whatsapp me as you know, I dont have the time to go and buy.

This year 2017, the CSY carry US $ de. Wah ! No wonder, the US dollar is going to strengthen !

Now..........don't you think, the festive mood is in ? πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

3) Every year, first day of Chinese New Year, we need to wear new clothes ! As it means that every year we have the money to buy new clothes.

4) Put a small amount of cash in red packets - this is to be given to strangers.....anyone who greets you..."happy new year" .   They will get one red packet.

This year, I have chosen red packet design from ABN AMRO bank to do this.

The reason,  why we need to give out money is so that MORE real money can come into you in the new year !

This is the reason why I am writting my blog today so that you get the message and can just put small amount in a red packet to be given to strangers.

There is a chinese concept to it - we call this "pu sze" in mandarin.

Normally, I give to taxi drivers or aunties at my office here in First Centre where I do most of my readings and my home is 11mins away (From Google map) . So for me it is ok if I work late....it just mean that I get to sleep later..... πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜†πŸ˜‰

FSQ Note : I am learning how to blog on my Samsung Note.

Thank you. We had 946 page views yesterday ! πŸ˜‰

Hi to all my friends / fans to this blog :

Today, 23 January 2017 Monday : I will be going to do fengshui at Jalan Rajah then off to office then go Bartley area then go Verde area for house review finishing around 8pm.

Starting Chinese New Year 28 January 2017, I shall begin to be more active in writing and posting here.

How have you been ?

Monkey year, 2016 had been a busy year for us. We did many wonderful projects , some of which are very interesting. And I met many new friends too.

On a personal note, I started going full time vegetarian since 21 June 2016......mostly because I  decided that I did'nt want to eat meat anymore. Hence, I also made a vow which then help me as I go about full vegetarian daily.

Intially, it was quite difficult but after about 4 months later my body got used to it and I was getting brighter and looking good !

Now........ is the last week before CNY and many fengshui masters like myself are extremelly busy during this period.

Stay with me for a while.

My family & I wishes everyone a very Happy Lunar New Year 2017 !!!

Thank you for the 20 years of support !!!
