Today, 11 September 2017 (Monday) - Hi.....thank you for following my blog. Almost everyday, I worked except for today............hehe resting.... at home. Then when working, almost everyone that I meet these days .......all seem to have been following my blog !!!

On Dharma/Meditation -  It is very good to learn how to meditate. I do hope that you find some teachers to teach or attend the sessions conducted by ABC (Amitabha Buddhist Centre) at 44, Geylang Lor 25A where I am their lifetime member. Most of the older members there would know me ;)))

I started Dharma with them in 1994 (23 years already)(went there to learn meditation) but have since moved on to learning about Chan Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism, elsewhere. 

This is where I learnt Tee Chang Jin (last year),  the Platform Sutra by Hui Neng, The Diamond Sutra which is very very powerful and Shurangama Sutra. And all these are within last year and this year ........even now too. 

I can dare say that yes, I do see myself progressed a lot recently especially about my understanding of our  "Buddha Nature". I know the "method" now........just that I need time to do my chanting on Shruangama Mantra and then to continue meditating. It is in the meditation that something can happen.

I read somewhere that we can become "enlightened" not in meditation but elsewhere !!! (read from the Platform Sutra). hehe.......my memory still good.

After all, "it" had always been with us, for many many years. Just that we enter the cycle of birth and death and birth and death. All because we are always using our "deluded mind". Once we can find our "true mind".......we should always use our "true mind" all the time.

People who use their "true mind" all the time usually use "wisdom" to help them get by. "Wisdom" can sometimes be very deep in them and it is likened to be like their 6th sense or "sen tong". 

How to get to use the "true mind" ? First is to remove the "I". So these days when I pray to the Buddha every morning, I use the name "Lynn Yap XX......takes refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha". In the old days , I used to use the word "I". 

How do you know when you are using "true mind" ? it is when your "mind" is here in the present moment. When you talk, keep your mind on your speech....then you are using your "true mind". Not easy right ? Keep trying ......and one day.......every moment you are using your "true mind" ;)))

This is because if you keep on using the word "I"...........you will never be enlightened !!!

On Destiny Reading - Sometimes, clients come to you for a life reading (Bazi) and you think that hei.........maybe a spirit is following them and then how ? These days, I would give them the link to the Shurangama Mantra (Youtube) and ask them to play it so that the spirit or any hungry ghosts can go away. And I think it did help them as they felt better after seeing me.

I am currently learning this mantra....quite long about 18mins. Not sure if I can memorise by heart....but I can try.

On Fengshui - Today someone asked me which painting of trees look good to enhance the study/fame area. I replied...I seldom ask clients to activate that area. Because that area is also for love and romance. If you do wrongly then activate "tau hua" then how ? 

Say, your husband get romance then how ? So.......I don't. I prefer to activate wealth area, sleeping position, stove, color of walls, curtain colours etc

And our Brand of Fengshui work !!! 3 months later.........you can see results. Otherwise, it is not called fengshui at all.

On Shurangama Sutra Volume 8 - In one of these pages, I read about how the demon can come and possessed the body of a person learning this Shurangama Sutra and then this person has the ability to dig another person's body and help heal this person of sickness. The hand of this person can go into your body and pull out say stones from Kidney etc....

One of my client told me about this...but too bad I forgotten which client liao.....otherwise can ask her for the contact and then you can go and visit this person with this magic powers, maybe can help those who are very very sick.

If I remember correctly, this person is not in Singapore somewhere in Thailand.

Anyhow..........when we are studying Shurangama Sutra, we must be firm in what we want then we can block these demons off. That is why I make 12 vows now todate........to protect myself and to remind myself of what I want to achieve in this life time. 

Yes, it is true .........in my job, I get to meet all kinds of people. Some are nice, some not so nice but yet still want to listen to you.......Ai yoh. Next time, then share more stories......;)))
