15 Fengshui Tips when choosing to buy a Landed Property :

15 Fengshui Tips when choosing to buy a Landed Property :
1) To buy a landed property, usually any compass direction for the house is ok. This is because if the house do not have any wealth area then we can always remove the roof 4ft by 4ft ( 天心 ) for 3 months or 100 days in order to change the period fengshui of the house to the current fengshui period.

We are now in Period 8 Fengshui which begins from year 2004 to 2023. Period 9 Fengshui is from year 2024 to 2043.

2) If you wish the fengshui to favour the married man more then choose North West facing. That is that the wooden door is facing North West.

3) If you wish that the fengshui to favour you, the married lady then the house wooden door should be in the South West direction. As South West stands for married lady in the I-Ching Trigram. In fengshui, we do use many of inputs from the I-Ching to determine a person's favourable sleeping position etc.

4) Directly opposite the house main door should not be facing a "gap" or a "hole" between two houses. If not, people staying in this house do not usually stay long and tend to shift house after one year unless fengshui was done to the house to make it "liveable".

5) The road should not be higher than the landed property as road is of the "water element" which means that the family members staying in this house could be "drowned". They need fengshui input to turn this around.

6) There should be no "electrical power" (big electrical box) next to the landed property otherwise members staying in this house might not be good for health and unless the owners had consulted a fengshui master then is ok.

7) There should be no temple directly opposite your landed property or even next door as the temple can suck up your house energy and then people staying in this landed property can just "pass by" only or "get by" only.

8) When you walk around the landed property and you can "feel" some spirits around the garden or even inside the house then do not buy this house unless you can get some monks to help you "cleanse" up the place then can buy.

9) If the main door of your intended landed property looks at the house next door which houses a Guan Yin altar table then it is better not to buy this landed property if not you cannot prosper with a God facing your house unless there is fengshui done to this house then can buy.

10) Try not to buy a 99 year leasehold property, get one freehold or 999 years will be good. This may not be a fengshui question but we are fengshui savvy investors and therefore we care about the length of the lease of this property before we buy.

11) The best directions right now are : if the landed property is facing North, South and South West as when the house is facing South West , the Dragon and the Phoenix come together at the main door of this South West facing house and therefore the fengshui is very very good.

12) The road in front of the South West facing house represents the water element and therefore this house as the external wealth area and therefore is very, very good for the family that stays in this house.

13) House numbers do matter. We usually advise clients to buy the house that has a number that is the last digit of their marriage certificate. So that they can stay in this house for long, of course fengshui good or not comes first before they can buy.

14) However, if the house do not have that special "spiritual" number then we can have a painting with the "9" on it or even with a "2" on it. This is what we do to "go around" it to make it better for the family.

15) The staircase or air well of the house should never be in the wealth area of the house, if not then there is a gap or hole in the house wealth area and therefore is not good. The plot of the land should ideally be more rectangular in shape is the best.
