10 Tips to chant Ah Mi Tuo Fo so that eventually we can all go to Amitabha's Pure Land -

1) You can sit or stand anywhere and silently or loudly chanting Ah Mi Tuo Fo.

2) You will need to see the four Chinese characters in front of you with your eyes open when you are awake.

3) The other way is to chant it silently when you are meditating and also to focus on the four Chinese characters.

4) There is no hard and fast  rule on how many times you need to chant.

5) Most important is that your mind is focus on the 4 Chinese characters whether your eyes are open or closed.

6) Then when you are ready, go in front of a Buddha  and make a vow that should one day you passed on, you will want to go to Amitabha's Pure Land.

7) This will set the "stage" right for you to start chanting and very easy to focus too as this helps to train your mind. Otherwise your mind may be thinking of one thing and then think of another. This is no good and don't think that this is ok.

Because you can tend to be forgetful and not focus. Then sometimes you cannot remember what you had just said to a friend and then asked :"is It ?" 

Like that Jia lat already.......cause when you are old, you might get dementia.

8) When you are very focused and good, Amitabha Buddha can appear in front of you !!!

9) Then he will tell you how long you are going to live. You can either tell him that you want to go with him now or you can ask for extension of your life. 

10) The reason why he will allow the extension is for you to help "chong sen" (sentient beings) or people. You have to help many many people chant Ah Mi Tuo Fo, four very simple words. This is because in the old days, there are some people who don't know words because they have never gone to school to study then in this case how can these people gain enlightenment ?

Everyone is fair and everyone has a chance to go to Amitabha's Pure Land.

FSQ NOTE : One day, one of my lady client told me that Amitabha Buddha is very very huge. Then I asked is he very very bright like white in colour ? She said "yes".

Because so far, I sometimes get small sparks of white light and I know that that is Amitabha Buddha !!!
