Today, 14 March 2018 (Wednesday) - Hi.........Lhamo bought this book sometime back. Ordered from Amazon.com and was delivered. Kept it for a while before deciding to read it. So these few afternoons that Lhamo was home, Lhamo was reading this book and at the same time also meditating.

When you meditate even for about 20mins before reading the book, it helps the mind to focus and therefore able to understand the contents.

You can see that Lhamo is half way thru the book. Lhamo only needs to read once. after that most of the facts are IN.

There is one page on ending the form skanda where Lhamo had experienced. Remember the time, Lhamo shared with you about the mind lifting upwards and leaving the body. Lhamo was about "abit" away from the body. The energy is very very strong but Lhamo had to fight it not to leave the body or some people said to fly. Luckily Redmart delivery man pressed the door bell and Lhamo was "ok".

If anyone of you are knowledgeable and wish to share your views on this, you are most welcome. And that also means that you know Shurangama Sutra very very well.

Why is it that Lhamo do not want to use her real name and instead use the Dharma Name. It is because as we cultivate (siew sin) (mandarin), we proceed to give up the "I" and there is therefore "no self" .

When there is no self , your true Buddha Nature can appear and can be faster than you thought.

In the Platform Sutra by the Sixth Patriarch, Hui Neng teaches us also to have "no self". 

An example : Hui Neng meant this  "try to look at the space between hate and love".......in the middle lies the answer.  Immediately that person got enlightened straight away. Hui Neng also said that we are to use this to answer next time when ever any one asks a Question. Only that way , can you be regarded as Hui Neng's student.

Lhamo wishes that Hui Neng would appear in her dreams but so far.........did'nt. Guess Lhamo's cultivation is not yet good........so got to keep trying and trying ! Lhamo would like to bring all of you to sit on a raft and to cross to the other side of the shore ;))))
